-ne 27:1 When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death: 27:2 And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor. 27:3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, 27:4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. 27:6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. 27:11 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest. 27:13 Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee? 27:17 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? 27:19 When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him. 27:21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. 27:33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull, 27:34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink. 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? 27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. 27:62 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, 27:63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. 27:64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. 27:65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.

It’s as if when you went raving you were going back to your original friends.”“I hadn’t looked at it that way, but it’s possible.”“Here’s a suggestion: instead of following periods of all-absorbing stock trading and success, with self-destuction and wild partying, perhaps you should organise your time better. There are various reasons why I don’t write more about myself, which I would like to put to my readers.Firstly, the blog was started to expose jail conditions, and to describe jail life. I have written attitudinal blogs from time to time because I do discover things that I get emotional about (such as atrocities committed by the Arpaio regime), and I let my opinions flow at the risk of compromising the original format.I don’t think I could do a good job writing impartially about myself. Finally,by addressing readers questions from time to time, I get to write about reader- requested areas of my life, as opposed to self-selecting areas that may bore readers.Perhaps psychotherapy dialogues have enabled me to write some unbiased blogs about myself because a professional is asking the questions and doing the probing. Blogging extracts from these therapy sessions seems like a novel way to disclose more about me.I want to know more about me to become a better person, but I’m unsure how many readers are interested in this area.Your comments on this matter would be greatly appreciated.Email comments to writeinside@hotmail.com or post them belowJon’s book wishlist –

White Picket Fences: Update: My Resolutions

October 19th, 2008 by admin

Array I started reading Perfect Madness: Motherhood in the Age of Anxiety by Judith Warner, and ended up buying it.I wouldn’t have bought the book if I hadn’t spent some time reading it, as it is about the kind of mothering I feel vaguely guilty about not doing, such as trying to plan the perfect birthday party (in our house the key rule was no home birthday parties because we can’t clean up the house in time). The author’s analysis (at least as I see it 60 pages into the book) is that women who grew up believing the feminist battles were already won assumed that everything depended not on social change but on making the right private choices for themselves and their families and therefore gave those choices unbearable weight.Saved by feminism yet again.

-ne Expose the Left has the video60 Minutes blames Denmark for the irrational, over-reaction to cartoons by Muslims.Cause, you can not blame the Lying Imams. They can spread all the hate and lies - inciting the violence - but they can not be blamed, that would offend them. The useful idiots at CBS strike again. They threaten people, they attack people who do that.So CBS News takes the cowardly way and seeks to appease the thugs.

-ne Okay - so now I am really STOKED (as my son would say)!!! I am super excited about doing a show - of my masks - which will mean making a bunch of new pieces (as I only have 3 masks on hand that aren’t spoken for). If the gallery wants 60% commission, and my selling price is 00.00 - that makes the gallery price for the piece 20.00. Plus - this is the first time I’ve ever had a gallery approach me to do a show. And don’t get me wrong - the Artworks folks sound very nice, and one of the art school business partners has his work in the gallery.Whew! And after spending most of President’s Day working on the masks, I have band-aids on three fingers - both thumbs and my ring finger!

Actually, I now know that exactly 40 more shots were fired.((NEWS FLASH - I just got news that there was an explosion in Balata, and 4 peramedics have been shot and are injured, I will update as soon as I can))Ok, back to the cabby, who happens to be a close friend of my families, and is like 60 years old!!He is living though, my brother just got back from the hospital and he is gonna make it, they can’t take the bullet out of his shoulder though, it could be to risky of an opperation for him. He just knew because this happens all the time, that when you get too close they get on their loud speaker and say GET BACK GET BACK so you gotta turn around anyway, I guess he looked suspicious when he turned his lights off…NOTE TO SELF - Do not leave your house when soldiers are ANYWHERE in the city…

Dramarama apparently, was delayed in production as IMDB is currently showing that it will be out sometime this year. The 48 Hour Film Project has some required props, dialogue, and characters that must be in the movie. For the Team Bait Shop/Burt Wood film they need to have a bicycle pump for the prop, a character named G. We have talked about having her do private voice and acting lessons at Burt Wood next year. She is just bursting at the seams with a talent that I don’t think the current class has the capacity for her to express.

The main function of the kidney is to govern the growth and development of the body, via its vital roles in storing jing (essence) and dominating reproduction and development. The kidney is considered to be the congenital foundation of the body and its functions and, therefore, the kidney dominates growth and development (Cheng, et al. these are congenital jing and acquired jing, which are both stored in the kidney, and which together in the greater whole are known as kidney jing. The function of jing is to promote growth, development and reproduction, to provide the basis for kidney qi, to produce marrow, and to provide the basis for all of the body’s jing, qi and shen (mind). Once the child is born, acquired jing is responsible for replenishing the congenital jing and starting the first independent jing cycle which, for the next seven years in girls and eight years in boys, will control the growth and development of the child. The four aspects are kidney jing (essence), kidney yin (water), kidney yang (fire) and kidney qi. All of the body’s functions rely on the heat provided by kidney qi and the gate of life (the space between the left and right kidneys) (Maciocia, (2005), p. Kidney yin moistens and nourishes the whole body, while kidney yang provides warmth and promotes all of the body’s organs and tissue (Yin, & Shuai, 1992, p. When the kidney receives fluid the qi of kidney yang divides it into to two types, clear and turbid. both come together in the kidney and interact with the kidney jing to provide qi for the whole body. In Chinese medicine the kidney is the key to human growth and development because it is the root of all qi and jing, and is, therefore, the impetus for all of the body’s ability to grow and develop. As qi and jing develop and decline, so does the human body’s development and abilities, for qi and jing are the essential energies of life.BibliographyCheng, X.-n., Deng, L., & Cheng, Y.

I stepped in expecting college life to hit me in the face, but it was just as pleasant as ever. Fed up of introducing ourselves, we cut it short and changed the topic of discussion. As our seniors had invaded our break time and we had no time to go to the canteen to satisfy our pangs of hunger, we gulped down some water and headed to the hall on the second floor. As we retreated into the air-conditioned hall and seated ourselves, a short film about the college was played with the college’s trademark soundtrack “Yatra” We were then introduced to the student council of the college. Free to leave, we slowly made our way out of the gates of the college. Rejoicing, that I had managed to complete day one of my college life, I turned back to take a last look at the college before I left day one behind.

From Ray Yungen, A Time of Departing, 82-85:…when [Brennan] Manning quotes from…William Shannon’s book, Silence on Fire, then one would expect to find a common ground somewhere between the two of them. The goal of all true spirituality is to achieve an awareness of our oneness with God and with all of God’s creation…Why does Manning see Shannon as a co-mystic?…For Manning to have read Silence on Fire, he would clearly see where this practice led Shannon. What makes it worse is that Shannon’s heresies clearly stem from contemplative prayer and Manning still advocates this practice. When we go beyond the teachings of Scripture (as Manning and Foster have done in their contemplative prayer advocacy), with the silence, we are, indeed, entering dangerous ground.Dr. Rodney D. Prayer is to think intently on God…There is no getting around the fact that contemplative prayer is heretical…How can Foster and Manning receive spiritual nourishment from people who throw out the Great Commission?…How can a Christian leader like Manning recommend Thomas Keating’s book on centering prayer when Keating says things like, “In order to guide persons having this experience [divine oneness], Christian spiritual directors may need to dialogue with Eastern teachers in order to get a fuller understanding.”

aku terpaku menonton sebuah drama citer pasal seorg tua yg bakhil nk gi aji bernama Jali (jalil hamid).dia ni penah ada bini tapi dah arwah gara2 kebakhilannya bagi makan biskut mayat (aku pun tak tau biskut mayat tu apa). tak bayar gaji staf n byk lagi lah kemungkaran antara manusia yg dia dah buat.Dalam proses dia nk gi aji tu, byk la input yg dia dapat pasal tuhan bayar cash kat sana la, atas sebab dosa yg org tu dah buat sebelum dia gi aji tuh.Bila mamat ni dah menggalabah nk bertubat, byk cara dia buat. So, pak jail ni gi lah ke warung kat kg tu, tampal poster suh sesapa yg dia ada hutang, mintak claim kat dia sebelum dia gi aji. Klu corporate yg pure and bebetul citer pasal business (techinically) mmg aku minat) takat cinta tu, n cinta cenggini, n of coz la merosak minda org kita tentang sangkaan burok, Ohhh ini ropenya dunia kehidupan masyarakat corporate yg keparat….rasanya director diorang yg dangkal pemikiran sebab anggap asal citer boleh jual laku, buat la citer camtu. Aku pakai kemeja long sleeves RL aku tucked in dalam 501 aku. Ada la plak sorang mak cik ni borak2 crossing us to some makcik @ datin (tau la dressing datin camna.anak kucing pun boleh sesat dalam sanggul dia) yg dari tadi dok pandang aku atas tgh n bawah, pas tu senyum kat aku bila laki dia takde. Bukan seba datin tuh, tapi sebab makcik 2 nih ngompat pak mak pengatin la, gelar kan professor bangang la, dr ayam la (teringat lecturer aku, dr yusof) penganting bunting kelamin la. Sampai aku kena taruk gadis tol kat pintu jamban aku sebab setiap 5 minit aku terasa nk kencing. So, aku mmg lupakan dia totally atas sebab apa yg dia dah buat kat aku. Dia kata aku dah tembam macam kure2 dia kat kg (kura2 tembam ke?) sebab hati aku senang dgn Nadja. Dia kata aku selalu susah hati bila dgr citer aku ngan si cemelaka tuh. Aku kurus pun bukan sebab si cemelaka tuh, tapi sebab byk mende yg aku risau kan. Apa yg dia dah buat tu, tak yah la aku citer kan kat sini. Diorang kata, tak nak dgr lagi aku complain pasal mumistu macam tuh.Baru kejap tadi Nadja tepon Tanya aku, ada aku sakit perut semalam? Dah puas aku mentekedarah macam Slimer dalam citer ghosbuster tuh, tak nak la tuduh yg bukan2 sebab aku makan mmg tak tgk sgt. Ropenya Nadja pun sama kena diarrhea (betul ke term aku nih?) hopefully, Allah selamatkan member aku tu dari segala bentuk cercaan dan tohmahan sebab kenduri tuh walaupun aku salah sorang mangsa yg cuba bersangka baik.

Array The voices come out of the great, distant past, cloaked in antiquity, hooded in mystery, shrouded in the misty past, covered by the winds and dust of time. What makes hope possible in a time of exile? The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ may involve a newfound capacity to hope, to hope against hope, to hope for what yet cannot be seen, to hope and to hope and to hope. The beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ may involve endurance of steady discouragement, for many years, with no apparent way forward or way out. The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ may involve a willingness, at the right time, to step aside. The Gospel of John begins with the beginning of time and Jesus rounding the unformed cosmos as the divine word, logos. The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ may well involve just such a cold, and foreboding start, a beginning that in that way is like all beginnings, from the infant cry at birth to the coughing susurration at death, and every new venture in between: a little quiet, a little cold, a little wild honey. So Mark writes, All: The beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Each declaims, then as the hymn starts, wades into the water and self-baptizes, and then moves stage right) Epilogue With Isaiah, in a time of exile, I will face down the loneliness I feel, and will explore a newfound capacity to hope. Verse 1: There’s a Voice (Susan Huppé) With Malachi, in a period of discouragement, I will accept the courage and the capacity to wait, to wait without idols, to wait for the living and true God, whose messenger will come in the fullness of time. Verse 2: With John the Baptist, in a period of anxiety, an age of anxiety, when my own service has been rendered, and my own work is done, I will look for that saving willingness to step aside, the grace to step aside, to make way for Another. Verse 4: (all sit as this is sung) With Malachi, in a period of discouragement, I will accept the courage and the capacity to wait, to wait without idols, to wait for the living and true God, whose messenger will come in the fullness of time.

I would be less blunt than a guy, listening to my mother’s voice in my head saying ‘Kim, be polite.’ So where a woman might not think it’s polite to say, ‘I honestly have no interest in seeing you ever again’ she might let him call and be conveniently unavailable every time he calls. On the other hand, guys might say ‘I’ll call you’ when they mean ‘if figure skating is on every channel, the bars are all closed and everyone I’ve ever met is unavailable, I’ll call you.’ A woman might pretend to like basketball, when what she really likes is spending time with the guy. Of course, I actually like it that men say what they think, except when it’s my husband saying he doesn’t think I’m dressed properly for an evening out, or that he’s mad that I spent too much money. Instead of saying, “no, I don’t think we should do that” I might say “I’m not really keen on that idea, though it would probably work just fine.” Drives him crazy.

I was so privileged to spend the last 4 days with a dear friend, Sasha. Aaron had left for a 4 day conference to Tallinn Estonia, and as it was only 10 days before due date, he wanted someone to spend the time with me. She tells me of one tiny 3 lb baby who no one thought would live but for a couple of days. Sasha has hundreds of children she has loved and cared for, sending home healthy well fed babies, receiving a new set of tiny preemies or failing newborns every month or two. Wednesday doctor said baby is not ready to be born yet, but is getting very big, close to 9.5 lbs by his estimate! Pray that God gives us wisdom in this matter, as well as the Doctor who has been following me and will deliver the baby. I continue to be pretty active for a woman who is supposed to give birth in the next few days, going to Church, attending Aaron’s company Christmas party, traveling to Christmas bazaars near the center of the city. He is such a sweet man! This week Aaron came home from work with a notice from the post office saying we had a package waiting for us there. As he worked the following day, he asked if I could pick it up. The next day, I waited eagerly for him to come home after work and a client Christmas party. To all of you who participated thank you so much for the package you sent with all the gifts for baby Bogott (Aaron loves the chocolate and candy – Aaron’s excitement is growing exponentially as the day approaches –

Array to shoot a score under 100 on a full par 72 golf course by the end of 2002. That, of course, has to be adjusted for a few minor factors.Score = 80 4 because it’s a par 68, not the full 72. 2 for the 2 mulligans I took (one on the front nine, and one on the back nine; I thank my brother and my best man for witnessing and look forward to the next outing this Saturday at Los Verdes.I believe it was a good goal and I wonder what it would be like to win a golf tournament.

Because I want to feel what they feel. I want to feel special, and most of all, I want to feel loved. It is so sad to me that I can watch these things, however sappy they might be, and know that I’ve never felt like that. I don’t know what it’s like to have a guy hold you, and tell you that you’re beautiful, and that he wants to spend the rest of his life with you. I wonder if He has someone waiting for me down the road…I wonder if that guy will sweep me off my feet.

Patrick Durgin and I went on a road trip to LA for the weekend for the two Carl Rakosi events with which he was involved: a reading-tribute on Friday evening with Jen Hofer, Wanda Coleman, Tom Devaney, Patrick, Jerome Rothenberg, and Paul Vangelisti; We snickered our way past Casa de Fruta on Pacheco Pass (home of Casa de Gift Shop, Casa de Choo Choo, Casa de Zoo, and Casa de RV Park) but I know that deep inside Patrick really wanted to jump out and see the peacocks and ride the miniature train and buy some olallieberry preserves. Or maybe that was me.The trip down I-5 was clear and quick, and though we got snagged on 405 for a while driving into Santa Monica, we made it into town with a half hour to spare before dinner at La Vecchia Cucina on Main Street with Carl and Marian Rakosi, Jerome and Diane Rothenberg, Tom Devaney, Jen Hofer, and Jen’s parents (friends of Rakosi’s since I believe the sixties).

We wish this were the normal state of affairs:This past week has been week six in our darlings’ development, and we suspect that a sudden disruption in what was becoming a reliable schedule means one thing: Growth spurt. 2) Collin has trouble falling alseep when he is not beeing held, which meant a lot of holding of the fussy baby by the soon-to-be-fussy parents 3) Lilah lives here too, and since she was also a bit overtired, but not so much, Collin kept waking her up with his crying.
