I stepped in expecting college life to hit me in the face, but it was just as pleasant as ever. Fed up of introducing ourselves, we cut it short and changed the topic of discussion. As our seniors had invaded our break time and we had no time to go to the canteen to satisfy our pangs of hunger, we gulped down some water and headed to the hall on the second floor.As we retreated into the air-conditioned hall and seated ourselves, a short film about the college was played with the college’s trademark soundtrack “Yatra” We were then introduced to the student council of the college. Free to leave, we slowly made our way out of the gates of the college. Rejoicing, that I had managed to complete day one of my college life, I turned back to take a last look at the college before I left day one behind.
